Mrs. Cora Eddy
West Brattleboro Woman, 73, Died This Morning
Mrs. Cora Elizabeth (Goodenough) Eddy, 73, wife of William Eddy of West Guilford Road, West Brattleboro, died at her home this morning. She had been in failing health the past year.
Born in Brattleboro Sept. 10, 1874, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Goodenough. She married Mr. Eddy Feb. 11, 1908. Four children were born to the couple, Elizabeth, wife of Fred Castine of Brattleboro; Bion Eddy, killed Oct. 6, 1945 in a woods accident in Marlboro, Retha, wife of Herbert Wood of Brattleboro and William Eddy of Halifax. She also leaves one sister Miss Mabel Goodenough of Brattleboro, 13 grandchild and two step-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Rohde's Funeral Home. Rev. Bennett Curtis officiating.

Funeral service for Mrs. William Eddy of West Brattleboro, who died Saturday, were held Monday afternoon at 2 o?clock at Rohde's Funeral Home, Rev. Bennett Curtis officiated. Burial took place in West Brattleboro Cemetery. Bearers were Rupert Goodenough and William Eddy, Jr. of Halifax, Herbert Wood and Fred Castine. Present from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Fred B. MacGregor, Ralph Wallen, Edgar Wallen and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Smith allof Troy N.Y. Mrs. Bion Eddy of Chester, Mrs. Rupert Goodenough of Halifax, Mrs. Robert Prentiss of Putney, Mrs. Alvah Stacy of Shelburne Falls, Mass., Mrs. Amy Sprague of Hatfield, Mass., Herbert Packard of Greenfield, Mass. , and Dennis Frecericks of Chichester, N.H.
