Eddy Jr., 87, of Woodmore Village, Plainville, husband for 63 years of Beatrice Moreau Eddy died Friday January 14, 2000 at St. Mary Home in West Hartford. He was born in Waterbury, son of the late William F. Eddy and Mary Dwyer Eddy and was preceded in death by two brothers, John Joseph and Frederick Dwyer Eddy. He formerly worked at the Chromium Corp. Of Waterbury and U.S. Chrome of Darien Center, NY. Upon retirement he was active in the Plainville Senior citizens center. Besides his wife he is survived by his son Bill Eddy. Memorial donations may be sent to the Plainville Senior Citizens Center, 200 East St., Plainville, CT 06062 or St. Mary Home Recreation Department 2021 Albany Avenue West Hartford Connecticut 06117. A memorial service will be held at a later date. | No newspaper given Eddy, Catherine Jeannette Cathryn Jeannette Eddy, 80 of west Hartford died Thursday September 30, 1999. She was born in Millinnocket main and resided in west Hartford for the past 33 years. Cathryn worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Hartford special machine and Phoenix mutual life. She also worked for the U.S. postal service, retiring in 1984. She was treasurer of the C. T. chapter of the gold star mothers, and an active volunteer at the Elmwood senior center. She was predeceased by her husband Edmund B. Eddy and son Edmond F. Eddy; a brother a Arnold C. Dunphy; and a sister, V. Arline Robideau. Survivors include a brother Warren M. Dunphy and his wife Mary, of north Branford; many nieces; nephews; and grand nieces and nephews . Calling an hours will be Monday from one to 2:00 PM. Funeral service will be held Monday at 2:00 PM at Taylor and Modeen Funeral Home 136 South Main Street West Hartford. Burial will follow immediately at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
