I have finally made available our genealogical records here on the internet.  A caution for those doing research with the following pages.  First when I created the web page from our genealogical software it was over 12.7 megabytes!  I have broken the page up into 13 smaller pages.  The links on these pages will not work because it was originally one very large page.  I will not go back and fix the links.  There are 24,756 persons listed.  It would take too much time to go one by one and fix the links across the pages.

Second, even the 13 pages are rather large so be patient after clicking on them.  Here is a full list of their size: 

If you want to reconstruct the single page you can save all the pages on your computer and using a word processor cut and paste the HTM code of each page in order.  I would recommend, for Windows users, WordPad and not MS Word.  You will find WordPad under, Start > Programs > Accessories.  This is the program that I used to break up the original page.  MS Word froze up on me (I assume because the original was over 12 MB).  MS Internet Explorer was able to navigate the whole 12 MB file.       I hope this information will assist many of you looking for your Eddy connection.

If you are not related to William Eddye but rather to John Eddy of Taunton, John of Woodbridge, or other immigrants that came later this data base will not be of much use to you.  Our genealogical committee continues to computerize our records and when they get a significant part of these genealogies done I will post them on the this Web Site.  It may be a few years from now (2001).

One last word, This is a substantial portion of our genealogical records that are found in our publications.  It is not our full record.  You will find a lot more information in the publications that we have for sale and these web pages do not include information that has been submitted to us since 1980.
