My mother Evelyn L. (Baker, Eddy) Gile registered both my brother and I with the Eddy Homestead Association when I was a child living at home.
MILITARY SERVICE
Before entering the fire service in1958, I served 3 years in the United States Marine Corps. I served in Korea, with the 1st Combat Service Group at Yung Dung Po, then with the 1st Service Regiment Forward, and finally with the 1st Marine Division Motor Transport Office, above Seoul. My years of service were from 1952 to1955 when I was honorably discharged
