Military Records I recently visited Andersonville, GA Camp Sumter in Southern Georgia on a military "Staff Ride". A staff ride is a way to educate military personnel in military historical events as a means to develop professionally. If we learn from our past we hopefully will not repeat its mistakes. In preparation for the visit we looked up names of Prisoners with the Eddy Surname. I realized in doing so that it would be good if we had a section of our website dedicated to those who have served their country.
